Fluted blackened oak sideboard on polished marble floor
One line, four metres, no handles.

The piece was made to be the only object in the room. Fluting runs the full length without interruption; handles were omitted entirely so the elevation reads as one uninterrupted surface.

A recessed plinth lifts the volume off the marble floor, so the mass appears to float rather than sit.
